Quinceañera Themes
The biggest issue we always face when having a quinceañera is deciding on a theme. You never want to go too far and choose a theme completely out of reach. To avoid that here are a couple tips on what themes are more obtainable and easier to execute.
The best way to avoid having a difficult theme is to choose an option thats already been done before such as Disney or masquerade. This allows you to find decorations pretty much anywhere. You can go to just about any store near you and find something Disney related to start off your decorating process. Start with an item as simple as a stuffed animal and work around the color scheme of that characters. You’ll find that you can do so much with just colors. For example lets say you choose a stuffed animal such as a little mermaid character like flounder. You can use the stuffed animal as the center piece and base the tables off of it. Flounder has a bold blue and yellow body and with that you can decorate the tables with table mats and colored plates coordinated with his colors. You can create ideas for all other tables based off of the idea of stuffed animals.
For those people that don’t really like the idea of a legitimate theme for your quinceañera the best option for you is to create a theme based on solely color and vibes. Choose a desirable set of colors based off of the dress or maybe the make up being done for the event and go off of that. The one thing you don’t want to do is take away attention from the birthday girl. To avoid these things you could decorate with complimentary colors and make sure the decorations are more subtle than the dress being worn the day of the party. This keeps the dress at a higher level of attention than the rest of the room without minimizing the quality of the decorations.
With these simple tips you can branch off and create a much higher level of execution. Take what you’ve learned from these tips and add your own flare. Your’e not limited to anything so go above and beyond what your hopes are for your night.
