Booking professional vendors for your wedding can be stressful. Finding the perfect match for your big day isn’t the easiest of tasks, especially with so many options to select from these days. Asking vendor questions, prior to booking their services, is critical. Do you know what questions to ask? Is proximity to your guests being taken into account? Does the venue cater? How much does everything cost? What packages do you guys have and what would you all suggest? And each of those questions expand into more questions once answered.
What happens when you have narrowed your search down to two or three vendors offering the same type of service? You need to look beyond their reviews and the easily answerable surface questions and ask the right questions in order to pick the perfect venue for your big day. A lot of times vendor will only share with you what they think is important, however, asking the right questions can help you select a vendor that meets your needs, while staying within your budget.

Here are a some less commonly asked questions you may consider asking your vendors to get a more indebt understanding of their quality and costs:

  2. What is your contingency plan, the day of, if there is an emergency?

  3. Do you have liability insurance?

  4. What advice would you give to a first time bride and groom about planning their wedding and selecting a vendor/venue?

  5. How do you justify cost with quality?
