Jewels’ Bio

Jewels got started behind the decks while attending school in Fort Lauderdale. Getting involved with the campus radio station was the first real look into the DJ world, and when the station needed DJs, Jewels stepped up. What started as an opportunity turned into a genuine passion fast.

That passion landed squarely on House, EDM and anything high energy. Since then, Jewels has performed at clubs, beach clubs and events of every size, including opening slots for other artists. The approach never changes: keep the energy unpredictable enough to stay exciting, while always staying true to the vibe of the room.

Jewels joins the Starshield Entertainment team looking to grow as a DJ, perform at more events, and be part of a crew that shares the same love for live entertainment. Expect energy, personality, and a heavy dose of House and EDM.

Jewels has a way of bringing both heart and energy to the team, and that is something I really value. She carries herself with a great attitude, is easy to work with, and brings a presence that makes people feel comfortable around her. What stands out to me most is that she shows up ready, willing to learn, and eager to be part of something bigger than herself. She fits naturally into the Starshield culture, and her personality adds a lot to the team dynamic. I am proud to have Jewels as part of Starshield and excited to watch her continue to grow with us.

  • I got my start behind the decks in college in Fort Lauderdale, when the campus radio station needed DJs and I jumped at the chance. That was [3] years ago, and it has been clubs, beach clubs and events ever since.

  • By reading the room before I ever touch a track. Every crowd has its own vibe, so I pay attention to what is landing and build from there. I keep the energy moving and a little unpredictable so it never gets stale, but I never fight the room to force my own set. When the floor stays full and people are still asking for one more song at the end of the night, that is a successful event.

  • High energy, House and EDM at the core, with the flexibility to go wherever the crowd takes it. I especially love playing with Ope Format and private event music. I am not the DJ who hides behind the booth. I bring personality and I feed off the room, so my sets stay unpredictable while always staying true to the vibe of the event.

  • Growth, plain and simple. I want to be in front of more crowds and more types of events, and keep sharpening how quickly I can read a room and adjust. Joining a team like Starshield is a big part of that, since being around people who share the same passion pushes me to keep leveling up.
